Sobre el libro<\/strong><\/h3>\n

El drama intempestivo <\/i>de Carles Batlle es una reflexi\u00f3n sobre el desaf\u00edo que supone escribir \u2014y escribir teatro\u2014 en la actualidad, una mirada sobre las condiciones y las categor\u00edas de lo contempor\u00e1neo (y sobre la idea de compromiso que le es inherente).<\/p>\n

Tambi\u00e9n es una defensa de la vigencia de la literatura dram\u00e1tica (partituras textuales para la escena) en un mundo perplejo en el que la historia, el sujeto y la representaci\u00f3n andan en la cuerda floja. Un mundo en el que la necesidad de autenticidad \u2014la pulsi\u00f3n por lo real\u2014 y la reivindicaci\u00f3n de la ficci\u00f3n conviven y se confrontan constantemente.<\/p>\n

Autor<\/b><\/p>

Su obra dram\u00e1tica ha sido traducida a m\u00e1s de una decena de lenguas y ha sido estrenada y publicada en varios pa\u00edses de Europa y Am\u00e9rica. Destacan: Combate <\/i>(1995- 1998), Suite <\/i>(1999), Oasis <\/i>(2001), Tentaci\u00f3n <\/i>(2004), Tr\u00e1nsitos <\/i>(2006-2007), Olvidar Barcelona <\/i>(2008), Zoom <\/i>(2009-2011), Still Life. Monroe-Lamarr <\/i>(2018) o N\u00f3madas <\/i>(2019). La mayor\u00eda han obtenido varias distinciones, como los premios Ignasi Iglesias, sgae, Born, Recull u Octubre. Como novelista, ha publicado la trilog\u00eda fant\u00e1stica K\u00e0rvadan <\/i>(2012-2016). Tambi\u00e9n gan\u00f3 el Premio de la Cr\u00edtica Serra d\u2019Or con el ensayo sobre Adri\u00e0 Gual (1891-1902): por un teatro simbolista<\/i>. Ha sido director del Obrador de la Sala Beckett y de la revista (Pausa<\/i>.). Entre 1998 y 2005 fue miembro del consejo asesor del Teatre Nacional de Catalunya. Es profesor en el Institute del Teatre y en la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Barcelona. Dramaturgo espa\u00f1ol nacido en Valencia, es director de escena, profesor, investigador y promotor de iniciativas teatrales innovadoras. Con una importante actividad did\u00e1ctica en literatura y teatro, ha impartido clases en medios acad\u00e9micos y talleres. Han sido frecuentes sus estancias en Am\u00e9rica Latina, en donde ejerce tareas did\u00e1cticas y art\u00edsticas, siendo M\u00e9xico uno de los pa\u00edses en donde m\u00e1s asiduamente ha trabajado. Egresa del Centro Universitario de Teatro de la UNAM. Realiz\u00f3 estudios de Direcci\u00f3n con Ludwik Margules. Tiene Diploma de Estudios Avanzados (Maestr\u00eda) por la Universidad de Alcal\u00e1 de Henares de Madrid. Integrante fundadora de la Asociaci\u00f3n internacional de Investigaci\u00f3n, Creaci\u00f3n y Difusi\u00f3n Teatral \u201cmanodeobra<\/i>\u201d en Madrid, Espa\u00f1a.<\/p>

Sus trabajos como actriz y directora se han representado en diversas ciudades de Espa\u00f1a, Francia, Suiza, Colombia, Cuba, Chile, Egipto y Argelia.
